Welcome to Hillcrest Gardens!

Hillcrest Gardens, owned and operated by Hooker and Bonnie J Nichols, grows a wide assortment of historical, as well as the newest tall bearded, median, and beardless irises (Louisiana and Spurias) from domestic and international iris hybridizers.

Both Hooker and Bonnie are active hybridizers of bearded and Louisiana irises and maintain a commercial iris and daylily garden, as well as a home display garden. Bonnie is the past President of the Novelty Iris Society and President of the American Iris Society. Hooker was elected as AIS Region 17 Regional Vice-President this past fall. They are both American Iris Society Emeritus Judges and travel extensively providing Judges Training and programs.

Hillcrest is known for its “generous” extras for each iris order.
